A Message from the President – Joni McDonald
I wanted to take a moment to let you know that it has been a pleasure to serve you the past few months. I enjoy working with all of you and I have appreciated your patience as I have tried to learn as much as I can about this job in a short time. But there is much more to learn and even more to do and I need your help.
I urge all of you to come to our Chapter meetings. You do not have to be a Chapter dues paying member to attend. The meetings are a great opportunity to hear about what is going on around campus and to give your input into those issues. In order to be your voice to the President and the Board of Trustees, I need to hear your opinions. The meetings are also a great way to get to know each other. There are so many new names and faces, wouldn’t it be nice to be able to say hi to each other and know who we are and where we worked? We purposely have the meetings at 11:30 and they last one hour so that you can come during your lunch. If your lunch is not normally at 11:30, please check to see if you can change your scheduled lunch time for 1 day per month so that you can join us. (more…)
